The regular departmental activities include the organization of ‘Association of Economics’ every session with ‘Guest talks’ from the eminent experts and also competitions about ‘General knowledge’ & ‘Subject Awareness’ are held.
The Year 2009 has witnessed the organization of two days' State–level Workshop by the department of Economics on “Use of Quatitative techniques in Economics & Commerce.”
